This past weekend, my husband and I finally had some time to work on our ongoing backyard projects that carried over from last year. The motivation to complete those projects has kicked in and we are both ready to start enjoying the space again.
When envisioning the projects completed and the space all finished, it makes me excited and eager to gather with family and friends. What does that mean? It's time to shop! I would love to incorporate a small, cozy seating area to relax and unwind, so I also browsed the Outdoor Living section to get more ideas for that.
Outdoor Entertaining Essentials
Sun Squad™ has some of the cutest kitchen products, which are new at Target. They are perfect for backyard barbeques and outdoor entertaining. I'm always drawn to stripes, and I love the light, airy color palette of this line.

Cozy Outdoor Living
When I think about the transformation of our backyard space, we have room for more than one seating area. I would love to have a small, cozy area, with no more than two or three chairs. I've seen several wicker egg chairs this year, which are just too stinking cute. The products are not to scale in this photo, but it's an idea of how I envision the design.
You have to work from the ground up, so I started with a rug. The simplicity of the 5'x7' Checkered Woven Natural Area Rug is just what I'm looking for, while the checkered design gives it interest.
As mentioned, I love the Wicker Egg Chair. It's a pretty high price point for one chair, but they are so cute that I had to include it.
