Pottery Barn Style on an Amazon Budget

beige accent upholstered chair rolled arm

Who doesn't love Pottery Barn's style? I love almost everything about it, except sometimes I could do without the price tag. If you're a fan of that classic style but not yet ready to break the bank, then join me on this budget-friendly journey to elevate our spaces with Pottery Barn-inspired charm, courtesy of our good friends at Amazon. I've got several dupes to share!

Let's kick things off with bedding. Crisp, white bedding reminds me of a luxurious hotel, and if you're looking for a bedroom summer refresh, white bedding will do the job. The cross-stitched style of these quilts gives a tufted look that can be both casual and elegant.

L: Pottery Barn has a 100% cotton king-size quilt for $179. It's larger than most king-size at 92" x 108". The king shams are sold separately for $49.50, bringing the total of the three pieces to $278.

R: The king-size of the Amazon dupe is a little smaller at 90" x 104", it's 100% microfiber polyester but comes as a set of three pieces for $47.99! At that price, I could certainly live with the smaller quilt.

Now we'll shift our focus to wall-worthy accents.

L: I found a beautiful giclée reproduction framed print of a piece by artist Dan Hobday at Pottery Barn. I love the moody blues and greens in this scenic landscape artwork. These colors, along with the multiple shades of beige and gray, would complement almost any neutral wall color. The natural frame finish is my favorite with this print, and the 24" x 16.5" sells for $399.

R: Amazon has a 24" x 16" nature scene art piece that echos the overall feeling of the Pottery Barn print. It is a little more abstract in appearance, but the scene and the colors are similar. Like the other print, it is a framed canvas with a frame in a natural finish. It is priced at $49.49.

Another beautiful wall-worthy accent is the Brass Fleur Mantel Arch Mirror. The bead detailing on the frame and the ornate detailing along the arch exude elegance. In this case, I believe the Amazon mirror is the exact same as the Pottery Barn mirror. The frame details are the same, the dimensions are the same at 31"L x 40"W, and both are iron.

L: The stock photo from Pottery Barn. It is listed at $399.

R: The stock photo from Amazon is at an angle, but it appears to be the same. It is $229.

Since I'm in the market for one myself, I decided to compare styles of accent chairs. I want something comfortable and inviting in a timeless hue. A roll arm chair in a classic beige is the epitome of comfort and style.

L: Pottery Barn's Freemont Roll Arm Chair in a brushed heathered weaved fabric is priced at $849. It measures 42"W x 36.5"D x 35.5"H.

R: The Husbedom Upholstered Arm Chair is a little smaller, measuring 39.4"W x 34.3"D x 35.8"H, but at a much lower price point of $307.97. At the time of this post, there is a coupon for $23, making the final price $284.97.

An accent chair needs an accent of its own with a snuggly, cozy throw blanket. A chunky knit can elevate a throw from casual to chic and give you all the coziness you need.

L: The weave of the Coastline Knitted Throw from Pottery Barn reminds me of a favorite cardigan sweater. It measures 50" x 60" and is priced at $89.

R: The Chunky Cable Knit Throw Blanket from Amazon also gives me comfy sweater vibes. It measures a little larger at 51" x 63", which is always good for my tall family. This throw sells for $36.99. At the time of this blog post, it has a rating of 4.7 stars and there is a 20% off coupon available, making the final price $29.59.

I love marble anything when it comes to home decor, and marble accents are a current trend. Both Pottery Barn and Amazon offer a round marble tray in 8" and 12" options. Both 8" trays are 1.5" H, but the Pottery Barn 12" tray is 1.5" H, and the Amazon 12" tray is listed as 2" H.

L: The 8" round tray from Pottery Barn is priced at $69, and the 12" tray is $99.

R: The comparable Amazon trays are an Amazon Choice product rated at 4.7 stars. The 8" is currently $30.42, while the 12" is only $36.99.

Another decor accessory dupe that I have is a large storage basket. You can never have too many baskets, at least that's my motto. These two baskets are 20" in diameter and very similar in appearance, with the main difference being the weave of the handles.

L: Pottery Barn's Extra Large Beach Warmer Tote Basket is $199. Ouch.

R: The very similar Household Essentials Large Wicker Storage Basket from Amazon is $55.99, a more realistic price point.

Lastly, let's talk curtains. Pottery Barn is known for their luxurious linen pinch pleat curtains. They offer sophistication and longevity with their simple, classic design. They will never go out of style, but luxury does come at a price.

L: The Pottery Barn Emery Linen Pinch Pleat Curtain is made of 73% linen/27% cotton blend and is dry-clean only. A single 50" W x 96" L light-filtering panel sells for $229.

R: A comparable option from Amazon that I have seen several home decor bloggers share is by Two Pages. The Polyester Linen with Thermal Lining Curtain can be machine washed on gentle cycle. A 52" W x 96" L midweight single panel is priced at $126.99. At the time of this post, there is a 10% off coupon bringing the final price to $114.29 per panel.

Pottery Barn's style is classic, but their price tags aren't always my favorite. However, with a little time searching, you can find some look-alike comparable home decor on Amazon.com that will go easier on your wallet. Happy shopping, friends!
