More Amazon Designer Dupes This Week with These Crate & Barrel Lookalikes
Hi Friends! The past few posts have been dedicated to finding Pottery Barn dupes on Amazon. This week I thought I would change things up and tackle another popular design store, Crate & Barrel (C&B). There are no C&B stores in my state, so full disclosure here, I have never shopped there in person and only perused online.
Honestly, as with Pottery Barn, much of C&B's inventory is way out of my budget. For comparison's sake, I would also say that along with higher price points, C&B and Pottery Barn have a similar aesthetic, with C&B having a little more of a modern edge. Possibly due to this modern edge, especially with their furniture, it was more difficult to find comparable-in-style lookalikes for C&B than it was for Pottery Barn. However, I gave it a go, and I believe that I accomplished the mission!

Swivel in Style
L: The Barrett II Leather Track Arm Swivel Chair from C&B offers comfortable, modern leather seating. It measures 35.5"W x 36"D x 36"H and is priced at $2,199.
R: A much more budget-friendly option from Amazon is the CHITA Faux Leather Swivel Accent Chair. Granted, it may be a little smaller at 30"W x 33"D x 33"H, but at the much lower price of $500, I know which option I would choose.
Price Difference: $1,699
Light Up Your Life
L: The Cabo Small Woven Pendant Light from C&B is created from natural rope and metal with overall measurements of 12.75"H and 18.1" in diameter. It sells for $279.
R: Although I did not find a pendant light with the exact shape of the Cabo, the 5-Light Rattan Chandelier from Amazon mimics the style. Dare I say, but I prefer the added top metal element of the Amazon light fixture. Its overall height is taller due to this detail at 19.7"H but the diameter is the same at 18.1". It is priced at $150, and at the time of this post, a coupon is available for $25 off.
Price Difference: $129 (or $154 with coupon)
Art that Speaks Volumes
L: C&B offers the Framed Canvas Art Print "Full of Hope" by Joe Turner in a large version at 40"W x 50"H. It is an abstract print with nice neutral tones that would complement many decor styles. It is priced at $1,199.
R: Although I could not find a similar print in a similar size, I believe the Set of 3 Modern Abstract Canvas Framed Prints from Amazon can achieve a similar feel. Each print measures 16"W x 24"H and the set of 3 is $95.
Price Difference: $1,104
Woven Wonder
L: The Large Handwoven Seagrass Vase from C&B is a stunner and stands at a stately 22" tall and is 13" in diameter. It is priced at $129.
R: The comparable lookalike from Amazon is the Brown Coastal Vase, which is a little smaller at 18"H and 10"W. The material is listed as faux seagrass, and it's priced at $56.
Price Difference: $73
Candlelit Glamour
L: C&B's Venezia Clear Glass Taper Candle Holders would be perfect for a modern, elegant evening. The set of 3 is priced at $52.
R: The 3-Piece Glass Taper Candlestick Holders from Amazon would create an equally warm, inviting atmosphere. The set is priced at $30.
Price Difference: $22
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
L: The 36" x 34" Edge Brass Arch Wall Mirror is simple elegance at its best. It is not too overly expensive at $299.
R: The Master & Co. Modern Metal Large Wall Mirror in brass is nearly identical, with a slightly different size of 36" x 32". It's priced at $120.
Price Difference: $179
Boxed Elegance
L: Add a touch of organization with C&B's Cane and Wood Decorative Boxes. The boxes measure 9” x 6” x 3” and 12” x 8” x 3.5”. The set of 2 is priced at $180.
R: The Rattan Decorative Boxes with Lids offer a variant of C&B's boxes with decorative metal latches and glass lids. The boxes measure 9.8"L x 4.7"W x 3.5"H and 12.2 "L x 7"W x 5.1"H and the price of the set is $63.
Price Difference: $117
Pillow Talk
L: C&B's Wool Boucle 23"x23" Alba Ivory Throw Pillow Cover by Laura Kim is a textural delight. A single cover sells for $80, making the price $160 for a set of 2.
R: Amazon's Foindtower Set of 2 - 24" x 24" Decorative Textured Boucle Throw Pillow Covers in beige offers a similar design in a less heavy polyester fabric. The set of 2 is priced at $27.
Price Difference: $133
Snuggle Up
L: If you've seen any other blog posts, you know that I'm always in the market for a new throw blanket. The Wool Blend 70'' x 55" Fisherman Knit Throw Blanket in Ginger Beige is a little larger than a standard throw and is priced at $150.
R: The comparable Amélie Home Cable Knit Throw Blanket in beige may be a bit smaller at 60" x 50", but I'm betting its chenille fabric makes up the size difference in coziness. The price of the Amélie is $41, and as of the date of this blog post there is a coupon available for 12% off.
Price Difference: $109 (or $114 with coupon)
Console Coolness
Last but not least, we'll take a look at a cabinet. Despite their titles, either cabinet could be used for multiple purposes such as a medica console or sideboard.
L: The Blake 68" Light Brown Teak and Rattan Storage Media Console from C&B is a mid-century inspired classic design. The overall dimensions are 68"W x 19.75"D x 32.25"H and the price is listed at $1,699.
R: One option to achieve a similar design appeal is the Set of 2 SICOTAS Rattan Sideboard Credenza Cabinets. If arranged side by side, the overall dimensions are 68.6"W x 14.9"D x 35.4"H. With its rattan doors and light oak finish, it is a designer dupe for sure. The price of the set of 2 cabinets is $290, and at the time of this blog post there is a coupon offered for $50 off.
